The chopping blocks have been treated with food safe mineral oil. Only light soap and water should be used to clean the wood. If your block appears to be drying out, simply clean and re-coat with mineral oil. If at any time you want to restore your block back to its original look, simply sand the surface, clean and reapply mineral oil. Prolonged use and humidity may cause the wood to expand or contract. If your board develops a wobble, you may remove one or more of the feet and add a washer to compensate for the natural movement of the wood.

Bamboo is a natural product and, as such, each bamboo item will have slight variations in color and appearance. The natural color of the laser engraved artwork is produced by the caramelization of sugar in the bamboo fibers. The amount of sugar in each product will vary and, as a result, variations in the darkness of the laser engraving will naturally occur.

We are happy to ship outside of the United States, but because international shipping is more pricey and a bit more complicated, we would prefer to work directly with you to come up with an estimate before shipping. Therefore, international shipping is not available on our website, but if you are interested in a shipping quote, please email Mallory at info@plantsonlyshop.com with the items you are interested in (including quantity, size, color, etc.) as well as your name, phone number and address and we will do our best to find the best way to get Plants Only products to you!

We proudly support the mission of the Esselstyn Foundation to spread the word and promote the benefits of whole food, plants-based nutrition. The Esselstyn Foundation partners with existing non-profits and community-based organizations to push the plant-based message out of the bubble! All their educational programming is offered free of charge.

We recommend avoiding water as it can wash the black ink out of the lettering. However if your lettering starts to fade, simply retrace the letters with a black sharpie and remove the excess ink with either a “Sunshine Polish Cloth” or a paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol. Copper and brass will patina over time and can vary depending on use and exposure to body oils. The naturally occurring, aging process for these metals has a beautiful look and aesthetic and is not considered a defect, but part of the appeal of the metals. If you prefer to keep your pieces bright, a sunshine polish cloth or other jewelry cleaners with do the trick.

All our apparel is made by Bella Canvas and in our opinion fits pretty true to size. Our T-shirts are offered in both a women’s fit as well as a unisex fit which is a more traditional men’s cut. The racerback tank tops are a women’s cut and the hoodies are unisex. 

We only use plastic bubble wrap when shipping our ceramic products since we found out the hard way that kraft paper was not enough to protect these fragile items. 🙁 We do however, re-use the majority of the packing material we receive in our own incoming shipments. And… we ask friends and family to save their packaging material for us to use as well! This helps us minimize buying anything but kraft paper for our shipping needs… although we reuse that too, when possible!

Yes, we love handwritten notes! Just let us know what you want us to say in the “order notes/gift message” area on the checkout page. Our checkout page has a spot for billing AND shipping address, so if you want to ship your Plants Only gift directly to a friend, just enter their address in the shipping address area and include your gift message and we’ll take care of the rest! (no prices will be included)

Returns and exchanges are no problem! Just send us an email at info@plantsonlyshop.com and let us know your order number and the item(s) you would like to exchange or return. we’ll send you an electronic label that you can use to send the item back and we’ll gladly ship you out the correct size! If you need to return the item, we’ll refund your credit card right away.
